Newborn Photography

    Going into this big adventure of becoming a new little family, I knew I was going to want pictures of everything and that David and my cameras were going to be taken over by this little guy.  I already had set up a session with the photographer that took our engagement pictures to have Lucas' newborn portriats done 2 weeks after he was born. However, during our short stay at the hospital we decided to take advantage of the free newborn photo session that they offer.  We figured, why not? We wern't planning on buying anything, just wanted to see how cute our little man looked on camera.  That is where our plan fell apart......
     After our photo session the photographer took us to her computer to show us the finished products (gotta love digital pictures).  She had all his pictures in a slideshow...to music...with little quotes about babies, new parents, love.  Next thing I know, que the water works.......

  After the slideshow I turned and looked at David with tears in my eyes and didn't have to say anything, he simply said to me..."just buy them" and gave me a big smile :)
